Jackie Monoson (she/her) is an independent filmmaker based in Brooklyn, NY.
Jackie’s recent projects include producing the short horror-comedy film, POSSUM which received the Audience Award at the 2024 Final Girls Berlin Film Festival (World Premiere). Its screenplay advanced to the quarterfinalist round in the Academy-Award qualifying HollyShorts Screenwriting Competition.
Jackie also produced the surreal tragicomedy pilot PALOOKAVILLE which received the Grand Jury Prize at the 2023 Slamdance Film Festival. She also produced the short horror-comedy film YOU’RE MY BEST FRIEND which had its world premiere at the 2023 Berlin Final Girls Film Festival and US premiere at the 2023 Seattle International Film Festival. Jackie served as Associate Producer on the short film, Remote, featured in the Hulu Bite Size Shorts Season 3 program, streaming now on HULU.

In her work as a commercial producer, director and production coordinator, Jackie’s clients include Nike, The Museum of the City of New York, The National Police Accountability Project, The Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Entertainment Weekly, Apple TV+, Apple Music+ and The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Jackie received her BFA in Studio Art and Minor in Psychology from New York University in 2017.
